Recording and touring with Goran Ilic – Rijeka, 27.12.

Excited to share this news: I will be recording a new album with Goran Ilic! We will also perform in various settings in Croatia, so mark these dates: 26.12. Karlovac – Mods Caffe, 27.12. Rijeka, hotel Marina, and more dates will be announced soon. There are a couple of videos in Video Gallery of our performance at this year’s Crescendo. You will contribute to our recordings by coming to these concerts, so I hope to see many of you there! Little Info: Astrid Kuljanic (voice, live electronics and looping) and Goran Ilic (acc.guitar) present acoustic music, traditional songs and originals influenced by the music of southeastern Europe. The duet expresses a fresh approach in research of the two crucial paths: their own roots and creation of contemporary music. Their style is inspired by different cultures that are significant in their living area, so you will hear intimate covers of Croatian traditional songs (Cres, Dalmatia, Bosnia etc.) but also a number of completely new compositions inspired by various cultures and personal impressions. Both composers, in this duet Astrid and Goran want to present an original junction of composed traditional and original music combined with improvisations created in the unique moments of every concert.
