New song by Astrid Kuljanic “Wanderers” out March 29th, 2024

Long after the publication of her album Riva in 2017, Astrid Kuljanic is releasing a new song she wrote called “Wanderers”. You can find it on all platforms starting on March 29.

This is what Astrid says about writing the song: “Even though I wrote “Wanderers” when I was thinking about one of my closest friends who passed away, this song somehow feels full of hope. I put on paper thoughts about people leaving this planet, about those who are facing loss, and how I believe we will all be together somewhere in the end, but not sure how and where… I was writing down the thoughts that ran through my mind when I imagined I could talk to my friend as a way of sending these messages to her and all the others that left this planet.”

Astrid wrote the song in 2020 but took a while to produce it because she wanted to do everything on her own – learn how to record and mix as well as play all the instruments except the bass and sing all voices. She had a little help from her friends – Cameron Vanderscoff helped shape the lyrics, and Mat Muntz the arrangement.
